The Current Event Presentation is individual projects, where you are expected to conduct one five-minute presentation on an HR issue that you observe from one or more current events in the week to which you are assigned (through the method of drawing numbers). You need not turn in any written report for this assignment. The current event(s) you choose must be relevant to one of the topics that is covered in the class. You may also choose to present a research study reported in a journal article, covering a relevant topic being discussed of the day. After the presentation, you are expected to lead a class discussion based on the issue you presented with two open-ended questions. The current event (or at least one of the current events) you presented must be dated within a six-month period on the date when you conduct the presentation.
