Federalist Papers Assignment: Paper 57 The Avalon Project

Each student will be assigned one of the

Federalist Papers

for which they will complete

a research project. Students will be assigned their individual

Federalist Paper

the week

after Labor Day (Fall semester) or the week after MLK Day (Spring semester). This

project will be presented as a PowerPoint (or similar format) presentation. You are to

use at least three (3) scholarly citations using the Walters State Library data bases (we

will have an instructional session about that soon).

Here are the things I am looking for:

-Who wrote the

Federalist Paper

you are researching with a brief biography of the

author?

-What issue is that

Federalist Paper

addressing?

-What does the author say about that issue?

-Students’ thoughts on the

Federalist Paper

they are researching.

-Cite at least three outside scholarly sources which discuss that particular

Federalist

Paper

This assignment will be due the Friday before Fall Break/Spring Break begins

(depending on semester you are taking this class). If you want to turn the assignment in
